Details:The staff has been burning the midnight oil to bring you a whole new lineup for TSI products in 2010. The first for public release is the all new Race Intake. Whats new here is an all new one piece design with an integrated MAF sensor flange. It is clearly seen that the MAF is no longer positioned in the stock location, it is also not positioned in the same location as our FSI intake. Considerable design work went into locating the prime spot for the sensor in a single diameter pipe as the factory multiple diameter plumbing flows considerably differently at different points. By utilizing computerized air flow models we were able to determine the appropriate position for the sensor in both placement and height. On the car lamda correction, timing correction, and MAF readings are all perfectly happy allowing us to call this a true bolt on part. Other Features:
*Cold Air Box keeps sound levels mature and directs cool air to the filter
*Integrated port for upcoming DV relocation kit
*Bend angles specifically chosen to allow clearance and access to brake fluid containers
*CNC Lathe spun factory matched PCV adapter

42 Draft Designs is currently in need of a test car to complete our FSI/TSI exhaust lineup. We're approaching the final release of our 2.5" & 3" cat-backs and turbo-backs for the MK5 FSI/TSI. We need a JETTA to complete the tip portion of our systems. Details:The car must be an FSI/TSI Jetta with stock downpipe installed. Stock exhaust would be helpful, but not necessarily required. We need the car for at least a week M-F. Owner must be able to leave vehicle with us for the whole week. We will be test fitting 3 different cat-backs and building new tip sections for all 3. We will also be creating a resonator delete pipe for the Jetta stock exhaust. Extensive sound clips will be taken by video of any and all exhaust configurations. Pictures will be taken of all tip configurations (hope for sunlight!)Owner will drive away with whatever exhaust configuration you like best. No money will change hands.
